Purba Medinipur B.Ed College prepares its Institutional Development Plan (IDP) with the objective of strengthening teacher education in the region in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020 and NCTE norms.
Focus Areas
- Strengthening the quality of the two-year B.Ed programme and pedagogy of school subjects.
- ICT-enabled classrooms, a digital library and e-content development.
- Faculty development, research publications and action research in schools.
- Expansion of practice-teaching partner schools and community outreach.
- Green campus initiatives, accessibility and student welfare facilities.
The detailed plan is reviewed annually by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Governing Body.
